Introduction

I added environmental lighting, timeline events, and a ghost to a hospital scene. I made the ghost model in Blender, and added some environmental fog and post processing to enhance the creepy setting.

Gameplay Walkthrough

Lighting (level design, gameplay)

Each light object came unlit, so I added all lights and adjusted their range & temperature, and added some burnt out lights. I also wanted to have some dust particles on the camera so that the fog effect felt more immersive, giving an abandoned vibe.

Ghost Model & Animation (3D modeling, animation)

I used a cloth simulation to get the drape effect for the ghost, and animation keyframes as well as timeline events to animate it. Using the cloth component I was able to move the cloth with physics in the scene.

Timeline Events (animation)

I created three unique triggered timeline events that had to do with the game's story, which was to collect parts for a doll that the ghost will possess at the end of the game. Along the way, a malicious creature hunts you down.
